This tincture was made with the most premium ingredients we could find. We made sure they were not only the purest and most potent, but that they were sourced sustainably as well. To make this tincture, whole dried Lion's Mane Mushrooms and dried Rhodiola roots soak in organic cane alcohol for a minimum of 30 days. Then a new batch of Lion's Mane and Rhodiola is simmered in hot water for 24 hours. Finally, the two extracts are blended and bottled in ultra dark, premium Miron Glass bottles. This tincture has a very smooth and pleasant taste. It may be taken "straight", or added to a beverage of choice like water or hot tea.
Whole USDA Certified Organic Lion's Mane Mushrooms Grown in California
Since this special tincture was made in small batches, we are able to use locally-sourced, USDA Organic whole Lion's Mane fruiting bodies. Whole mushrooms yield an extract which is much higher in beta-glucans and hericinones than other extracts made from mycelium-on-grain. The Lion's Mane was grown in coastal California.
Sustainably Sourced, USDA Organic, Small Farm-Grown Rhodiola Rosea
Rhodiola is an incredible adaptogenic herb which also has a delicious flavor and aromatic notes reminiscent of sandalwood and rose. We proudly source all of our Rhodiola from small organic farms in Alaska. Rhodiola Rosea is on the Red List of endangered plant species in several countries. A small plant can live to be 100 years old, and it takes at least five years to mature and be ready for harvest. Most of the world's supply of Rhodiola is wild-harvested in Northern China and Russian Siberia. Because of the rise in demand for this amazing herb, wild populations have been dramatically impacted. We take pride in using one of the world's only truly sustainable sources of Rhodiola.
Backed by Science
Lion's Mane Mushroom and Rhodiola Rosea are tried and true holistic remedies, and the scientific literature supports their use in promoting health and well-being. Lion's Mane supplementation is clearly linked to increased synthesis of the brain boosting proteins Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF). This may translate to improved memory, cognitive function, and related promotion of brain and neurological health. Decades of research also support the use of Lion's Mane as a gastroprotective supplement, as it appears to affect gut health in positive ways. It may also have a favorable impact on blood sugar. Rhodiola rosea (AKA Golden Root) is a superstar at enhancing mood and energy levels, reducing stress, inflammation, and cortisol levels, and assisting with fat-burning. It's the original adaptogen. It's the Robin to Lion's Mane's Batman in this synergistic blend. Become the best version of yourself with this powerful tincture.
