Rhodiola is a powerful and well-researched herb. Check out some recent Rhodiola studies:
This study found anti-gastric cancer effects from Salidroside, a compound found in Rhodiola. Salidroside appears to elevate the expression of certain genes which help fight gastric cancers.
This study also focused on Salidroside, this time with regard to how it may protect neurons from Parkinson's Disease via a mitochondrial pathway.
Pro-inflammatory cytokines are proteins your immune system secretes to send signals in your body. While they have many functions, they are strongly associated with muscle atrophy (or wasting). This study found that Salidroside may be valuable in reducing the inflammation and muscle-destroying effects of cytokines.
That's it for now. Just wanted to keep this one short and sweet, and highlight a few impressive research abstracts about rhodiola's potentional for health-promotion.
And don't forget our glaring conflict of interest in the authoring of this post - our brand new Lion's Mane & Rhodiola Tincture. We use it and love it, and we're sure you will too!
